Booking policy update

Please note, bookings are non-refundable. You will not be able to request a refund for poor weather, a change of mind, late arrival or anything similar. However, you can reschedule your booking time and date should you need to up to 25 minutes before the boat hire time slot you booked. Any changes to your booking will need to be made through your online account. To create or access your online account, click the tab in the top right hand side of this page. Please note, you must use the same email address you used to book your boat hire online, for your booking(s) to show on your account.

  • Can our dog ride on the boat with us?

Dogs are welcome on our boats, under the supervision and liability of its owner.

 

  • Do you supply buoyancy aids?

We have a supply of buoyancy aids available for toddlers and small children.

 

  • Is there a safe area I can leave my pram?

Customers are more than welcome to leave prams on the launch whilst using the boats, however we do not accept responsibility for any damaged or missing items. Items are left at owners risk.

 

  • How do I make a change to my booking?

Please log onto your account by visiting www.heatonparkboats.com/bookonline

select reschedule and then select the alternative date and time desired.

 

  • Can I turn up to the lake and hire a boat on the day without booking online?

To ensure an efficient service, all boats must be booked online through www.heatonparkboats.com/bookonline

 

  • How many people can ride in a 4-seater pedal boat?

A maximum of four adults are permitted to ride in our 4-seater pedal boats, however it is possible for a party of 5 to ride if one member of the party is a small child who can sit in the middle.

 

  • How many people can ride in a rowing boat?

5 people can ride in a single rowing boat.

 

  • If I need to cancel my booking, am I entitled to a refund?

This is a non-refundable service, however we will welcome you to re-schedule your booking in the event you are unable to attend your original booking.
